    Interact uses connected LED luminaires, sensors, and other connected devices with established networking and cloud architectures to enable data gathering and sharing, adding intelligence to all illuminated spaces.
     
    With Interact, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we consult with you to design a system with the capabilities that meet your unique business objectives and that create connected, responsive, and sustainable spaces. The information on this page will help you understand how an Interact system is built—but your Interact system will be unique to your specific situation and needs.

    System components

    Controls


    For façade, bridge, and monument lighting, Interact works the Light System Manager Ethernet controller from Color Kinetics, or selected Pharos controllers. A web interface allows a range of remote management activities, including content scheduling, show and scene creation and triggering, and monitoring with support for up to four cameras. On the back end, Interact uses a gateway and standard networking switches to connect with the Interact IoT platform in the cloud.

    Open APIs


    Open, secure APIs accessible through the web-based Interact Developer Portal allow system integrators and application developers to extend Interact with new capabilities, and to integrate Interact data and commands with other connected systems.

    Connected devices


    For façade and landmark lighting, Interact works with a wide range of connected luminaires from Color Kinetics.
