    System example for retail

Explore the potential of IoT lighting and data

Interact uses connected LED luminaires, sensors, and other connected devices with established networking and cloud architectures to enable data gathering and sharing, adding intelligence to all illuminated spaces.

With Interact, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Instead, we consult with you to design a system with the capabilities that meet your unique business objectives and that create connected, responsive, and sustainable spaces. The information on this page will help you understand how an Interact system is built—but your Interact system will be unique to your specific situation and needs.

    System components

    Controls

In retail environments, Interact connected lighting systems work with lighting controllers and gateways from industry leaders, including Dynalite from Signify, and industry-standard Ethernet network switches for the monitoring and control network. Interact software applications offer web-based system management, operations, and control.

    Sensors

Interact works with a wide range of multifunctional sensors. Additional energy savings can be achieved by applying occupancy sensing typically used in warehouses or back-of-house storage areas. Light sensors support daylight harvesting from skylights or large windows.

    User interfaces

Interact offers a variety of tailored user interfaces which allow local manual scheduling override for store personnel who don’t have access to the Interact software dashboard. Dynalite offers a portfolio of beautiful interface solutions with user-friendly functionality, from simple wall switches to touch panels.

    Connected luminaires

Interact works with a wide range of luminaires from Philips and Color Kinetics, including VLC-enabled luminaires and Fresh food LED lighting recipes. We offer a wide range of luminaires including linear, projectors, downlights, and more.

    Indoor Navigation

Interact supports hyper-accurate, real-time indoor positioning, powered by technology embedded in LED luminaires, to enable location-based services such as wayfinding, aisle-side promotions, and shopper assistance requests, to drive staff efficiency with improved workflows.

    Open APIs

Open, secure APIs accessible through the web-based Interact Developer Portal allow system integrators and application developers to extend Interact with new capabilities, and to integrate Interact data and commands with other connected systems.
