    Energy optimisation

Meet sustainability goals and reduce energy costs through data-based insights

Optimise office lighting performance and accurately measure energy usage in real time. Full control of the lighting throughout your facility lets you reduce CO2 emissions, make progress toward your sustainability goals, and lower energy usage and costs throughout your office building or entire business.

    Benefits

    Maximise energy savings

Switching to LED will deliver up to 40% energy savings.  And by adding smart controls, you can save an additional 20-25%. Presence detection sensors mean that you only use light when it’s needed and the lighting dims automatically when no one is around.

    Reduce energy, boost sustainability

View lighting-based energy consumption across one office or your entire portfolio of offices via a dashboard. Compare sites to benchmark usage and identify opportunities to reduce CO₂ emissions and costs throughout your business.

    Link services for maximum efficiency

The software and connected lighting system also enable daylight harvesting and occupancy detection, helping you to conserve energy by reducing lighting and other services, such as HVAC, when they're not needed.

    How Energy optimisation works

Each of the connected light points reports measured energy consumption to the network. The energy consumption data is visualised in a dashboard, providing insights into how much energy is consumed per area on an hourly, daily, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. By combining this information with other data such as presence detection, shift patterns and worker activity rosters, you can draw conclusions on how lighting energy use can be further reduced or optimised.

With these insights you can also adapt, schedule and customise lighting behaviour to fit your operational needs, which can further reduce your energy bill.

Secured in the cloud or on premise

Data gathered from the lighting can be stored on premise or in the cloud depending on the customer’s preference or data governance policy. You own the data and can share it with business partners and independent software vendors.

    Open APIs

Open, secure API enable the sharing of real-time and historical data on occupancy and energy usage with other IT and building systems, which can use these data elements for overall building energy optimisation. By integrating the lighting-based energy usage into a central building dashboard, you can get an in-depth understanding of how each system in the building contributes to the total energy consumption.

APIs also enable the building owner or occupier to share  the real-time and historic energy usage data with third parties who could create additional software apps or services on their behalf.
